How do teeth stain removers work?

Can someone get me an article about how teeth stain removers (mouthrinses, toothpastes ect) work? Thanks!

  9. Most of the stain removers use some type of hydrogen peroxide. Usually the professional version just have a higher percentage concentration of peroxide. The peroxide oxidizes the stains and lifts them from your teeth over time. Crest Whitestrips and other professional brands use something called Carbimide Peroxide usually in 6% concentration.
