How many violation notices or question/answer removals does it take to get kick out of Yahoo Answers?

Have you been kicked out before? How often?

There is no preset limit. A single extreme violation can make it happen virtually instaneously; lesser offenses can be accumulated here and there, now and then, with no problem. Suspensions are permanent unless you win an appeal, but few win. Also, there are at least 2 degrees of suspension. The FULL suspension is ALL Yahoo accounts lost: email, YA, flickr, fantasy sports, games, etc. The lesser suspension only removes access to Yahoo Answers.

If you are getting a lot of violation notices, you might want to reread the rules to see where your problem might lie, before suspension catches up with you unawares.

  1. It doesn’t depend on how much violation notices you get, it depends on how severe the violation notices are.

  2. Yes, I’ve been kicked out before. And you must take note that if they kick you off yahoo answers, they will also kick you out of Yahoo altogether. They didn’t even send me a warning, and the next thing I knew, I couldn’t even log into my email. Be careful, if they kick you out of YA, they’ll most likely delete your email account as well.
