Why can’t black skinned people use some laser hair removal machines?

My friend works in a shop that sells laser hair removal machines, and loads of the boxes say they’re unsuitable for black skin. Why is this?

The laser sees 2 colors (light and dark)
The skin must be light enough to be separate from the hair
The laser "fries" the hair root because it’s dark (it heats it up and kills it)

And if the skin and hair are the same color it will basically just burn the entire area treated (yeah it’ll remove the hair)
But the skin will blister horribly!

I’m sure they’ll find a way for black people to have permanent hair removal soon =)

cause the laser must identify the difference between the hair and the skin, that why light skin with blonde or light hair also not a good candidate for laser

this is real info, i watched Oprah.

    Dr.Oz is my witness

There is too much melanin in their skin for lasers to have any affect.
