What can we do to recover our items. Company had storage facility and has been visited by a friend but is now deserted and locked. We dont want a refund just our items.

Reckon you should be off to police sharpish with all evidence you have so they can check out the deserted facility. Try trading standards too.

Sounds like they were either a scam, or went out of business in the middle of the time your goods were being shipped. You are probably out of luck.

Hope you paid with a credit card. Also hope your goods can be easily identified as if company has closed all unidentified goods belong to liquidators
