  • UK and EU only, if you do an international house removal by road, what customs paperwork is needed?

Posted by admin on January 14th, 2010 and filed under international removals | 4 Comments »

I think a CMR only applies to goods which are to be sold.

    definately not.

however, i will say if you leave the EU on route to your destination, even if its only in passing, you might want to give customs national advice service a ring on 0845 010 9000 where they can ask what countries you’ll be going through and therefore give you any specialist advice on paperwork to prove to that outer-EU country that you’re only passing through. that way you want have to worry about them asking you whether you’re an importer and all that jazz

EU has no customs – and removals in the Schengen area are paper-free – UK is of course not EU -
