similar 2 miles away.
Have never hired in the pros before and wondered was was a norm price? As it is would not know if £300 or £3000 was appropriate! Thanks x
This may seem a lot compared with some of the answers but there are always other costs on top of the Remover’s quotes. Some things may have to go into storage for a day or so while you find space in your new house.
Some things may need special packing.
The diesel for their pantechnicon will be at least 20% more expensive than it was two months ago. They’ll pass that on.
We moved from a 4-bed semi to a 5-bed detached about 3 miles away (next village) and it cost approximately £400

We moved 1 mile up the road from a three bed to similar. Cost £425.00 plus boxes at 50p each.
We live in London and the remover moved everything out and in again.
And he put all the beds up and the curtains too.

Phone the removers up and they will come and give you a close estimate. Bear in mind that when you reach your new address, they charge waiting time if there is a delay in getting the house keys for them to unload.

If you allow about £500-£800 then you won’t be far off.
