Just after a rough guideline, and every website wants a million answers to provide a quote.
We’re moving house (from a 4 bed house fairly choc-a-bloc with furniture) and moving about 35 miles down the road – how much will it cost roughly to get a removal firm to take furniture/pre-packed boxes and deliver to the new house?
Hi Rachel, check out the link for the British Association of removers. I have found them most helpful in the past offering estimates without obligation. Best of luck.
I saw this on tv just the other day. The cost is an average of $25 per square foot plus fees and permits for things like blocking traffic, raising electric wires, etc. There can also be state and county fees. A 1000 sq ft house empty would cost +/- 25,000 plus. You also have to prepare a new foundation on the new property. They will not move a house full of furniture. It has to be empty.
