I have bought a heavy and awkward wardrobe and need to move it up my narrow stairwell…it could do with professionals and maybe ropes and pullies or something…I’ve been searching for professional furniture movers, but can only find removals, rather than a service that will move one peice of furniture within your home. Anyone heard of such a service? I live in Berkshire…

Try calling the furniture stores, sometimes they use private movers who are usually willing to help you move your furniture just around the house. This is what I did, and they picked up from several locations, and also placed my furniture. Hope this helps.
